After completing the 'Adimonde's Invitation' quest:

Archfiend of Knowledge Reborn
We meet once again. Do you recognize my voice? I am Casimir, Oblivion's first mentor…as well as the Archfiend who preceded him. The God of Fiends ate me when I reached the limits of my potential long ago. It appears that Adimonde has decided to 'regurgitate' me in order to entertain you. My apologies, but I have no choice in the matter. Come, now. Allow me to show you around Adimonde's innards.

I've been here for several lifetimes, but others were 'eaten' eternities ago. Some existed before the dawn of time, but you'd have to dive deep to find them. I don't recommend that.

Adimonde
The God of Fiends, Adimonde, is responsible for the creation and suffering of all Fiends. This is his realm. In fact, he is his realm. You're standing inside Adimonde. If it doesn't kill you, it'll mutate you into a Fiend. Many have cast their souls into this Void for power, knowledge, and so many other desires that become meaningless in the end. When a Fiend reaches their peak, Adimonde orchestrates their fall and eats them.

Cycles
Adimonde chooses an Archfiend, and gives them unfathomable power. That Archfiend reaches the limits of their potential and selects an apprentice, who betrays them. The God of Fiends feasts on the defeated, and the disciple becomes the next Archfiend, rinse and repeat. The current Archfiend is close to shattering this cycle, and Adimonde senses it. I was nursing a little hope, but then he reached for you, the strongest piece on the board.

Abilities
I believed the centuries I poured into hoarding knowledge gave me a complete picture of how much Adimonde controls us. That was foolish. He just revealed that he can 'regurgitate' dead Archfiends, essentially bringing them back to life. Even worse, the God of Fiends isn't trapped in his own realm. Adimonde can reach into Lore whenever he wants, but gleefully kept it a secret to watch us cling to what little freedom we thought we had.

Archfiend of Knowledge Reborn
Adimonde is more talkative than usual, and he's already quite the chatterbox. Now that we've encountered Vigneron's Cocoon, he wants me to take you to Rodeleros'. I have my suspicions. The God of Fiends may seem as capricious as a child, but every one of his mutated Fiends inherited his cunning nature. He wants you to do something, and will say whatever it takes to make you think you're making your own decisions.
