We're dealing with total disaster on two different fronts. We've got dragons fighting over the crown down in the valley below, and angry villagers just past the gate who want revenge for all the destruction their fighting has caused. Given enough time, it's nothing we couldn't handle ourselves. But since you've shown up looking for a way to earn our favor, it looks like we won't have to.
What do you need me to do?
First, you'll need to help us solve our villager problem. Kill them, bribe them, burn everything to the ground… we don't care how you fix it. Just fix it!

What do we do now?
Head east again, but once you're past the gate, go down into the valley. Challenge the chosen champions of every breed of dragon that's fighting down there. Once you've bested them, they'll lose the right to challenge Maleth for the Dragon Crown.
