Arachnomancer
The feud between the Arachnids and Dreadspiders has only intensified since we last met. Gressil's defeat in the Twilight Realm inspired our enemies, and they've taken to mimicking the one who bested them. The Spineback Abaddon is the Dreadspiders' first attempt at creating a hybrid. They're treading dangerous ground. If we don't defeat this Abaddon, a curse will fall on all of our heads.

Abaddon
The Spineback Abaddon is the Dreadspiders' first attempt at forcing evolution. It's adopting the form of the one who defeated Gressil in the Twilight Realm… you. I have my theories on how this hybrid was made, none of which are pleasant. They could have sacrificed humans for a dangerous spell, or converted Arachnomancy into manipulative magic. Whatever the answer may be, only curses follow those who dabble in twisting flesh.

Arachnomancy
My practice has many different applications. Some Arachnomancers focus on healing by using spider venom in medicine, or utilizing their innate regeneration capabilities… like molting. Then, there's item crafting- refined spider silk can be used to make magic clothes or city-wide webs to facilitate communication. Even fortune telling can be performed through our ancient rites. Really, with all of that in mind, combat-oriented Arachnomancy seems boring by comparison.

Origins
Arachnomancy allows us Arachnids to communicate better with other species. I am an Arachnid, obviously… or, perhaps not? I usually look more like my brethren, but use magic to take on a more humanoid form. The arms and legs you see are made of tightly-wound silk- and my real limbs are spider legs tucked behind my back. If I walked the normal way, it might make you scream.

Arachnomancer
The Dreadspiders keep gaining ground on us… underground, that is. A terrifying prawn-dreadspider hybrid named Cadaverous Creeper keeps digging tunnels down here and has reached the surface through Darkovia. I need your help at stopping not only the Creeper, but also the creatures that are coming through the other side!
