Another challenger? After Chaos Lord Kitsune's embarrassing fumble, the humans have gotten so brave! Poor dear. If you're looking to party up, I'm going to have to let you down. I'm aiming for the Shrine of the Midnight Sun. Usually, it'd take at least a century for me to grow another tail… but becoming a victor will net me at least five. Empress Ai No Miko would have to let me into her noble court!

Let me shine a little light on something more people should know about. The original Yokai Spirit was definitely a Kitsune like me! We're the guardians of the Yokai Isles, and its people give us treasure and fried tofu skins in exchange for protecting them. If that Chaos Lord didn't mess everything up, Empress Ai No Miko would have me as her right-hand lady! Us Kitsune need to prove ourselves, and I'll start by getting Priestess Himiko's blessing.

Do you see how radiant Empress Ai No Miko is? She's just like a Kitsune! Look at the sun and its golden rays. Doesn't that resemble a fox and her many tails? Priestess Himiko's blessing suits me the most. If that power needs the sun to shine at midnight, it won't be a problem. Us Yokai have our ways. The Empress will surely favor us again!

Competition
Ugh, I don't know what's worse. A human cosplaying as an Oni, or an actual Oni being one of the victors. And it had to be Shuten-Douji's son. I bet he and his thugs are celebrating with a bloodbath as we speak. This is a travesty! The Kitsune as a whole should be embarrassed over being slower than those dull brutes! At least this Vampire's good company. He's telling me about the eternal night in Darkovia, and I'm taking notes.
