Legion Loremaster
I have seen you in my visions for years. Finally, now that I've been released from prison, we meet in person. I am the Legion Loremaster, Iamus. My lorekeepers and I recall the past, record the present, and reach into the future. We are Soothsayers as well as historians. It's been literal decades since I've been allowed to get my hands on ink. If you would help me catch up with the Legion's affairs, Lord Dage will see to your rewards.
Talk
Out of the Five Generals of the Dark Council, Lady Lachesis of the Styx has been the most hospitable, though incredibly reclusive. Ah, well. I prefer that to the… peculiarities… of the others. The library will grow from here.
Lorekeepers
The Lorekeepers have taken to calling themselves the Iamidai, named for their leader. I don't enjoy the attention, but the Legion has difficulty changing once they're used to something. When I was alive, I saw Dage the Evil's potential to make history, and diligently wrote of his achievements and mistakes. Honesty and accuracy frequently earned me undue punishment, but these days, my Lord is more receptive to hard truths.
Legionnaires
The Legion is more than its Lord. The Generals, the Judges, and even the innumerable soldiers are what make and break the Underworld. Their faces have changed more times than I can count. I have yet to acquaint myself with the current of the Dark Council…save for General Vaughn. The other four have my attention, as do you. There's a special spot you occupy in the Legion, even if you don't choose to stand with us.
Fate
I record the history of the Legion as it is, but I can see into ts future as well. Lord Dage both covets and despises my prophecies. Knowing what is to be has its advantages, but once you do, the chains of fate bind your soul. Hm, that's what he believes. As for myself, I see soothsaying as using magic to make accurate predictions. We may walk a certain path, but nothing stops you from drifting into the woods.
