Warden of Termina Temple
The painting that came to life and started causing havoc…I'm so sorry, that was mine. Muusa and Maya were kind enough to give us an invitation to the gala. Felix and my brother encouraged me to try a little painting too. I was having fun listening to stories and mixing colors, until I looked up and found an empty canvas. Was my art that accurate? This was the first time I've ever heard of the King of the Dark.
Painting
I'm a beginner when it comes to painting…as in, I only started today. Mo- I mean, lona would have been disappointed if we 'wasted time on frivolous things like this.' Before my art began to move, making it was really fun. I wasn't good at it, but the other artists were so nice, and Muusa's stories were captivating. The art that came to life was something we made together…literally.
Magic
The King of the Dark was one of the main subjects of the gala, and there are so many different depictions of him. Muusa said that each artist puts a little of themselves into their work, and that I should do the same… so I used necromancy to consult the spirits of Castle Whistler. Their words weren't clear, but they guided my brush. Maybe one of the spirits was the first Lord Vaughn, and that's why the painting's so accurate…
Outfit
Muusa asked me to wear this dress as a reference for the artists painting their interpretations of old legends. To help complete the costume, she asked me to bring Bananach. Apparently, they resemble the lost Staff of Ardent Mercy. It belonged to an Elven hero who helped their party defeat a foul King many years ago. Felix thinks that King was…hm, maybe we shouldn't talk about it here.

I'm so glad Queen Victoria called for you! She had this castle converted into an orphanage so the children could celebrate Frostval in peace and comfort, but the nobles played a cruel trick. They "forgot" to tell us that the castle is visited once a year by a monster called the Kall Haxa. It's a giant beast that reaches into homes to drain their warmth, leaving nothing but cold husks. Do you hear that? It's behind the door.

I've never celebrated Frostval before. Is it always like this?
Orphanage
Most of the orphans here are my younger siblings. We aren't related by blood, but lona snatched us from our homes, and made sure there was no way to go back. The others are from Greenguard. Their families were taken by countless calamities and invasions. The Queen gave them all a place to live, providing enough to be happy instead of just enough to get by on, and a future where they're free to choose. It's like a dream.
Nialla
Did you hear about Queen Victoria giving Lady Nialla Granville ownership of Castle Balemorale? She's well-learned and kind. I came to help the children from Skye adjust, and she…asked me to dress up like this. I feel kind of silly, but it's hard not to smile. Lady Nialla's father wasn't smiling. He was the original owner of Castle Balemorale, and spites his own daughter. It's all too familiar…
Cold Beast
The locals call the monster that lurks outside "Kall Haxa." Only the older members of the Granville family know how to keep it away from the castle and villages. Lord Granville was so angry at Queen Victoria and Lady Nialla for converting one of his castles into an orphanage that he allowed the Kall Haxa to attack us. Lady Nialla had to break into his study to find out how to ward it away. She has the book, if you're curious.

Have you come to check on it? Warlic has been keeping watch night and day, so Miss Tara and I have been taking turns to give him a break. That's the least I can do after you gave me a new life. I've done too much harm to return to Skye, and it's still difficult for me to face my real father. For now, I want to repay your kindness. Sorry if I'm whispering too softly, I'm afraid that it's listening to us.

Frankly, I'm terrified of going into dark spaces, but don't stop me from going down there. I have to get over that fear somehow, and for now, I want to try to on my own.
Health
When mother…when lona was defeated, her monstrous form crumbled into the ground. All of the power she drained from Skye was returned to its soil. Forests regrew, and even the people were reinvigorated. Skye's shadow gives shelter to all that need it, even me. I don't think I deserve to stay in Skye after everything I've done. It's hard to talk to my father, too, but one day, I'll come back better than I was before.
Colossus
This behemoth is the Doom Spirit known as the Colossus. Warlic thinks that it's dormant, and very weak. Still, we can't underestimate the threat it could pose. Bananach is the same…species, but they couldn't be more different. The Colossus terrorized Lore during the end of the Planar Conflict until it was ripped in two. One half was at the bottom of the sea, but why was the other half in possession of the Lightguard before you took their Temple?
Caoimhe
Lady Muusa gave me a journal that was found in the Temple after you took it from the Lightguard. It belonged to my friend and mentor, the real Caoimhe. They fed her to a creation similar to Sparagmos, so there won't be a soul for me to contact even if I tried… Why would Paladins do such a thing? I understand that Greenguard has been beset by much tragedy because of necromancy, but this crosses an unthinkable line.
