Astromancer
I’ve been keeping an eye on the telescope for the longest time. Since no one’s been using it, I’ll take it as a sign to set up shop here. I am Kylokos, Astromancer and a Professor on a sabbatical. But without students around, I’ll have to gather study materials myself…unless you’re willing to lend a hand? I’m on paid leave so I have more than enough funds to reward you for your help.

Zodiac
I’m refining and updating the current known knowledge of twelve constellations that adorn the sky of Lore. Each has their own legend, which may differ depending on where you are. For example, most of the constellations’ origin stories come from outside of Greenguard. You would even find differences between stories told by Trolls and tales told by Horcs. I’ll tell you about them while we work.

Arcane
Mana is the lifeblood of Lore, but even though the heavens are distant, Astromancy finds a way to link the two. Our planet is drifting in space after all! Technically, we’re all seafarers in the sea of stars. Poetry aside, Astromancy uses spells with ties to the stars, including the zodiac constellations. I’ve found that it’s easier to draw power from the zodiac you’re born under.

Space
The heavens are endless and wondrous! We will never truly know everything about what lies beyond Lore’s horizon. Though there is a very important tenant of Astromancy that I keep in mind while I study. We are encouraged to gaze at the stars, but we are to take great care to make sure the stars do not gaze at us. I’m sure there are many lovely discoveries to be made but, the opposite is also true.

Star Field
The other mages in Arcangrove have been kind enough to help me get up close and personal with my research subjects. Jump on that purple teleportation platform near the telescope, and you'll find yourself in the starry skies. It's perfectly safe, and we can study the constellations in person. Well, I suppose it's not entirely safe. The stars will want us out of their space. You know Wind spells that can break your fall, right? Uh, right?

I spied a star drifting away from its constellation! It's a significant asterism that can affect astromancy and divination magic if it breaks! Please, help me get this star home.

Connecting yourself to the constellations above will help you understand the flow of the cosmos, and even fate. I hope my expertise can help Aria with her hunt for the Great Dragons.

28 Mansions
Do you know of the Four Legendary Beasts that represent the cardinal directions? Genbu, Suzaku, Seiryuu, and Byakko are constellations composed of twenty-eight stars. The seasons and elements can be thrown out of balance if those four beasts…get a little silly. I did some research in the Yokai Isles, and found that those stars have taken a keen interest in Lore.

Constellations
It is my belief that the stars aren't just distant lights. They can achieve sentience, and lend their power to those who catch their gaze. By tracing the stars, giving them titles, and telling their stories, we accelerate that process. That said, it could result in some mishaps. Like constellations, or even individual stars, taking an interest in Lore. Wouldn't you be curious if people in faraway lands started calling your name?

Astromancer
We're ready to put the stars back in the sky. The best spot is where the stars landed in the first place. It took a while for Valencia and Aria to help Amefuri remember, but Dragonlord Argento can fly us there once I finish preparations…between you and me, I think Amefuri wasn't actually lost. They want something. Attention definitely, but why? Keep that question in mind.
