A couple of people I know are curious about the possibility of a Hollowborn Celestial. There just hasn't been an opportunity for one to undergo the Shadow Fiend's trial. If that happened, it would surely upset their Celestial kin.

I'm not talking about my intuition, but yours. As far as anyone else would see it, we're just going to make Gramiel see some sense. So he was a Celestial that fell in love at first sight with a mortal. So he gained an unstoppable will to avenge her by purging all evils from Lore. Are you alright? I smothered the Priest's spell, and that won't go unnoticed. I hope you'll still be willing to let me accompany you. Now, it's pretty obvious that there's more than just Gramiel to worry about. Someone tricked him into thinking the Horcs attacked and killed Veronika, the reason he went on his zealous crusade in the first place. Whoever that was, I'm sure they're irked that their stage is falling apart.

Welcome to the Shadow Realm, hero! If you’ve come to get away from it all, you’ve come to the wrong place. Every shadow holds a terrifying beast here. Hollowborn DreamWalkers captured THIS beast following them as they returned to our dimension. Since you are here… want to do some training?

Dreamwalkers?
Some DreamWalkers can send their minds through dreams and dimensions to get information or watch their enemies, but Hollowborn DreamWalkers are able to go there personally if needed. Though it is a gift from the Shadow Fiend to do such thing, it comes with a price.

Nightmare?
The "Nightmare" is an unconscious manifestation of the DreamWalkers. It is just the dream-dimension trying to maintain equilibrium after the disturbance of the DreamWalker’s physical presence. It takes a lot of self control to tame your own Nightmare. It won't kill you, but it will do *everything else* you fear to send you back.

The First Hollowborn
The Hollowborn Fortress is above with its stairs, caves and secrets. Down here in the caves… this is where I work on my high level gear. All I need is some ingredients and an assistant with strong willpower to get them. First, I need to make sure you're aware of what you're going through in here, so we need a contract. Thay had to rely on herself that dark day, but I'll be here to protect her until the end of our eternity.

That's way too much trouble, so we quietly sent letters over to our closest friends. Some of its denizens are minding their own business, some are planning evil things, others planning good things… but for now the doors remain closed. The rumors you heard were about a girl being possessed after she was mortally wounded by a pack of monsters. Then, her soul was stolen. That's not exactly what happened down to the gritty details. The town's ‘Liberator,' known as the Shadow Fiend by the Hollowborn, tested her determination to live. Unfortunately, she didn't make it.

Brethen
I and others like me are known as the Hollowborn. On the brink of death, we were graced by the Shadow Fiend. They offered us a second chance at life, gifting us new bodies and unfathomable strength. We are born anew, if we pass his trial. Failure means our soul and consciousness will be assimilated into the Shadow Fiend's shade.

Shadow Fiend?
I'm quite grateful to the Shadow Fiend, what with him giving me a new lease on life and all. He could be eh, more tactful but that's why I talk on his behalf. In a sense, you could call me his spokesperson. Don't worry about allegiances. Good, Evil, everything in between. All are accepted by the Shadow Fiend as long as their will is made of steel.

Those Vindicators are finally making their move. I don't have a problem with my fellow Hollowborn who are driven by their loyalty to the Shadowscythe, the Rulers of Swordhaven, Legion, Nation etcetera etcetera. But there's a deep disrespect here, both from the Master to his vassals, and the vassals taking it out on others. Some discipline is in order.

After completing the 'Isa, Reversed - Realized' quest:

First of the Hollowborn
As the Dragon of Time, your perspective has a chance to overlap with other versions of yourself from other timelines. Lucky us. This is a timeline where you and I never met until now. Veronika's plan went off without a hitch, and now we're paying for it. Gramiel is regaining the power he had as a Celestial, and is back under the control of his creator. At this rate, all non-human life will be wiped out, and everyone else will lose their will and freedom.

In this timeline, the First of the Hollowborn will become the Last of the Hollowborn.

Another Ending
Where you're from, it looks like Lae roped you into Veronika's plot. I'm jealous of him. In this timeline, we only just met, and the world's ending. We succeeded in manipulating Gramiel, but his reascension caught the eye of his creator. He reverted back into a tool of Anethyx'o, and will enact his creator's will. It'll destroy Lore as we know it, even if you defeat him. We've been dealt our cards, but I want us to go down swinging.

Hollowborn
As the Dragon of Time, your perspective has a chance to overlap with other versions of yourself from other timelines. Currently, you're in control of a version of yourself that accepted the blessing of the Shadow Fiend. As a Hollowborn Vindicator, you'll be able to face Gramiel in his empowered form. Hm, you're smiling? Oh, I bet the Lae you know is jealous of me. Even if it's for this one moment, we're Hollowborn brothers.

Choices
One wrong choice led to this dead end. You didn't become involved with the Hollowborn until Veronika and I had Gramiel on the cusp of ascension. So, what did I miss out on? You never became a Hollowborn, but we were closer. Veronika lost Gramiel, but learned that their love was real. Honestly, it's unfair. One wrong move, which wasn't even yours, led to this. To the version of you who called this timeline home…I'm sorry.
