The banquet that took the lives of Alnswick ghosts happened in the Ballroom. Take a left from the stairs and you'll run into some grotesque gargoyles. A young lady is there fighting them. Talk to her and help her turn the gargoyles into rubble!
Gargoyles are used as the crest and symbol of the Taylor family. They're meant to protect their home, but the ghosts' resentment seeped into them too. Alas, you're capable of getting past them, but the door to the Ballroom is sealed by an otherworldly force.

The invitations these nobles received were different from the letter sent to the King. They boast about dishes made from Dragon meat front and center. The guests were to enjoy the magical benefits of their meals, and stage a coup on the clueless King.
