Castle Eblana's Caretaker
I've made a rope ladder to get you to the ground. Don't worry, it's sturdy. I used to make tons of these for the rebels. That said, this will be the last time. If Lady Iseul catches me, I'll lose my hands if she's feeling particularly merciful. When the Queen's men knock on my door to take my children away, I want to be able to hug them before they have to leave. I might not live long enough to see them return.

Eblana
You're currently in Castle Eblana. The town named Eblana is just outside. This was where the first King of Skye arrived from the sea, and saved the land's people from savagery. For a while, it was their capital city, but the royal family moved to the city of Tanaris soon after. Both used to be beautiful and gilded in gold, until King Duncan Drakath invaded and stripped Skye bare…not that I'm allowed in the capital city, being mostly human and all.

Iseul
Castle Eblana is traditionally given to the second born child of the ruler, but Queen Iona lost her family decades ago. Her adoptive daughter Iseul, the Shockwave, inherited the castle and Warden of the West title instead. Iseul is the most beloved of Queen Iona's children, and the most brutal. Her enemies are struck down before they have a chance to scream. Iseul's cruel…but she'll be seen as a pragmatic Hero when she fights the invaders.

Elves
Me? I'm not a noble. Maybe I had an ancestor that was noble, but they probably threw their baby into the river. Only pureblooded Elves can be nobles, and I'm maybe a quarter at best. Worse, I only have a few bags of flour to my name. Queen Iona's laws dictate that my children will be taken from me to become wards and students of the crown. I joined the rebellion to stop that from happening, but…maybe this is for the best.
