Metamorphosis Maw
People are disappearing one by one. If it's true that a so-called Old God is remaking the world, then the forests and trees will join them soon. Your only option is to retreat and regroup. Follow me into Forge Citrinitas. This metal den will hide us. Still uneasy about our truce? Then we can quarrel over previous grievances, and be erased together. It's your choice.

Eos and Dryden are inside the forge, so is Astero. As for Apophis…Disappearances
When the mountains began to shake, I left the forge to investigate. My minions began disappearing one by one, and it only stopped when I slithered back inside. If what you said about that Old God was true, then surely we aren't the only ones at risk of being erased. Think of that Champion of Light, the young lady in blue, and all your friends. They're running out of time, and you only have one option… A truce with me.Forge
There's something special about this metal den. Not only is it keeping us from disappearing, the walls are… oddly comforting. Eos and Dryden calmed when we followed Astero here. It seems he's unable to see us when we hide in the forge's shadows as well. Even in darkness, Lore's environs are extremely hostile to our kind. Citrinitas, however, makes it feel like we… fit here. That it was made with our sensibilities in mind.Triad
Astero ambushed me back in the Sandsea. I would have been eaten alive if Apophis hadn't stepped in. It wasn't a fight he could win, so I took Dryden and retreated. We've been following Astero ever since. I don't think Apophis was killed. With how… close we've become, I would have sensed his destruction. Astero has plans for us. He always did. The Emissary of Light has the audacity to think he could use us like stage props, does he? I'll show him…
After completing the 'Breaker Room' quest:
Metamorphosis Maw
A Dragon's throwing a tantrum inside the forge, and the ruckus will get Astero's attention. We need the element of surprise… and a hostage wouldn't be too bad. Corner that Dragon, and keep her from sounding the alarm.

After completing the 'Clematis' Aspirations' quest:
Metamorphosis Maw
Urk, I don't have much room left in me. With an entire city of Elves on reserve, an extra Dragon was pushing it. You mentioned Clematis' sister. We can use this hostage to get some leverage on her twin, and come up with a strategy to take Astero by surprise. Then, you'll have full access to the ship. Zigfried and Cassilda are familiar with what The Law is doing. Doesn't that sound like a good place to start planning how you'll strike back?
