Xergon's egg turned these normal pirates into greedy guardians. Now that the curse ruined their lies, they will never let it out of their sights. Take out some Cursed Pirates and Gilded Crystal Undead.
In any other situation I'd salute Nubar for living the life of a treasure hunter - it's a shame Xergon's curse rendered him stark raving mad. Hold onto this old weapon from one of the crew members, we may need it later.
