Lady of the Yew Mountain Chain
I'm only here because Mi and Fa wanted to see you. Look…outside of maintaining the balance of the universe or whatever magnanimous duties you have…what are we, really? I've lost much because of you, but gained more, lived more, and realized more. Are we friends? No. Are we enemies? …No, definitely not. We're some strange third thing beyond description.
Gift
I signed you and Artix up for jazzercise classes, life coaching seminars, hot yoga sessions, adventuring insurance, Celeritology membership, and weekly full-body waxes. All of the guitar classes with Mi are canceled times fifty, and here's another surprise. Most people have one doctor they go to frequently for checkups. Something you'd describe as a general practitioner. Guess who did all the paper work to be yours. Flu shots are coming up.
Lady of the Yew Mountain Chain
Looks like you've been getting as much sleep as I have, which is to say, none at all. We have a lot to talk about in the Library, but I'm dealing with a…small fire. One of my Knights had to be locked in the House of Ash. He had a key that we were unable to retrieve… I would deeply appreciate it if you could go inside and take it from him. My other Knights are…inconsolable. They shouldn't see their friend like that…
Trespassers
While you were in Skye, the Magnum Opus Forges relit themselves and it's been one wave of trespassers after another. They abused the Yew Mountains' flames, and were burned for their greed. Once that happens, there's no known way to save them. I'm more than happy to let them roast, but their flames can spread to the forests and innocent people. We're forced to quarantine them in buildings like the House of Ash.
Ashes
The House of Ash was a warehouse, until we needed to quarantine what some are calling “Maleno Matchsticks.” If their flames spread to you, burning to death takes agonizingly long. In that time, the fire could spread, and there's no way to put it out. You’d think this would scare people away from Thelima… but what the Forges have to offer outweighs any fear.
Warlic
The Blue Mage made frequent trips between Termina Temple and Thelima to research the Flame of the Beyond. I think he knows the Mountains better than I do. Warlic did everything in his power to help with the relentless fires, but his magic just fuels them. The best he can do is help me draft possible solutions, and have other Mages test them. Just…keep an eye out for him. He already seems more relaxed with you around.

Lady of the Yew Mountain Chain
Song is so caught up in directing the evacuation that she barely registers your presence. The best you can do is find the source of the fire and put it out.

I've already sent a messenger to Swordhaven. We can't let this go on. The Magnum Opus Forges would have given us a huge advantage, but the flames are too dangerous. I can't keep counting on miracles to save us. That thing that attacked you… the Flame of the Beyond? And Aleister, is he really the First Champion of Fire? Sigh The previous two threats taught us that it's never that simple. Don't jump to any conclusions yet.
