Magic, the lifeblood of Lore. A force so prominent that there are clear signs of its use from ages ago. Our researchers have been investigating the primitive stages of magic but are in need of more components in order to continue. Current research has given us a lead on these components, but we need you to find them for us. We need Enchanted Manuscripts, from the realm of Death, The Rite of Renewal which was stolen by the Grand Inquisitor of the Citadel, The Coven’s Sigil, used by the Witches of the Marsh, and Spell Stones from the ruined city of Gilead.
Scrolls, Sigils, Manuscripts, all components that were once needed to cast spells. It's amazing how far magic has come. These will make a fine addition to the museum after they've been researched.

While science hasn't existed for as long as magic, its rapid developments have made it just as impressive. Like magic, our researchers have been looking into the early stages of science but have come to a roadblock. We need Supercharged Gems, found in the mountains of Thunderfang, Lightning Capacitors from a Mad Scientist's monster, A Wooden Control Panel from the Sneevil's War Machine, and then we'll need a Core of some kind.
That core you found, what's it from? A DRAGONOID? Those were said to be a myth! This will be looked into immediately.

Our researchers just informed me that the Dragonoid Core you found was built by the dragons themselves! To think that magical creatures once used science, who would've guessed? This has raised a question as to why dragons no longer seem to utilize any forms of technology. The Dwakel are technologically advanced and are believed to be descendents of dragons. Could you bring back some of their technology from /crashsite so we can see if there's any deeper connection?
After examining the Dwakel technology you brought back, our researchers have formed a hypothesis. Much like how the Dwakel aren't dragons, the dragons that built the Dragonoid weren't dragons either! At least not the same dragons we see here on Lore today.

Throughout your journey you may come across objects of great power, if you can get a hold of these items, our researchers would love to study them closer. You can get the Blade of Awe from Valencia, the Supreme Arcane Staff of Arcangrove, A Destiny Weapon, or what's left of one, A Doom Weapon, and The Mirror Shield of Cornelis, shattered by the Gargoyles that now inhabit the city.
The Blade of Awe, is this real? Oh, the other stuff you found is cool too though!

This next list contains weapons and armors that once belonged to powerful combatants. Their whereabouts these days are mostly unknown, but maybe they haven't strayed too far from their birthplace. The helmet of Vaden, DeathKnight Lord of the Castle of Bone, The armor of Zular, Warden of the Djinn Gate, Fortitude and Hubris, the Balanced Blades, the armor of a Shadow Dragon Defender, thought to have been consumed by the Void, an ancient Paladin's armor. My cousin Jill'Ette's been after it for a while now, and Valoth's Cannon of Doom. Talk to the Dwakel Scavenger, wherever they are.
Your efforts are very much appreciated. Oh, you had to pay for the cannon? We'll reimburse you for that. Buying treasures from collectors is something we do all the time.

Many of these treasures have been lost to time and will likely require you to undertake perilous tasks in order to retrieve them. If you do manage to find everything, then you'll be rewarded handsomely, I can assure you of that. I need the armor of Drakath, Champion of Chaos, the armor and helmet of Awethur (ask Valencia about these), The helmet of Sepulchure, the armor of an ancient DoomKnight, and the armor of renowned sellsword Bin Jett, unfortunately he was swallowed by a slimy dragon long ago.
