Hollowborn Warden
The bonds of the Hollowborn must be stronger than iron. We must be responsible for each other. Beyond this gate is a prisoner - an ancient brother that must not walk free. I am a Hollowborn Warden, and my duty is to keep the Darkdweller quelled. His shackles are loosening, and I must confess that I can not subdue him on my own. My brothers and sisters told me you are quite capable. May I request your aid in this dire matter?

I'd prefer that we discuss the prisoner. Now that I'm Hollow, duty has become my only purpose. Hm, still curious? To be brief, I was also a Warden in my mortal life. My brothers and I oversaw many prisoners like the Darkdweller, until there was a massive breakout. Vene, Vidi and I perished, but I rose again as a Hollowborn- and the lone survivor. Now, back to the matter at hand…

Ancient
Though time has eroded his name and story, the Hollowborn know the Darkdweller as an ancient Darkblood. Perhaps even one of the first. He was imprisoned deep beneath Falguard when his children failed to execute him. The Darkdweller wasn't immortal, however. Long-lived and durable, he finally breathed his last centuries ago…and became Hollowbom. Now that he's one of our brethren, the Hollowborn must keep the Darkdweller sealed.

Crime
What warranted eternal imprisonment? He is a kinslayer with vile ambition. As the Darkbloods grew in number, their bloodline diverged. Have you ever seen any walking on four legs? Never or rarely, yes? There's a reason. The Darkdweller tried to eliminate any Darkbloods who walked on two legs to ensure that his bloodline would attain dominance. At great cost, his efforts were resisted, he was imprisoned, and his descendants were culled.

Warden
When the Darkdweller passed the Shadow Fiend's test, we became responsible for him. If he were to go free, chaos and carnage would descend. It would be catastrophic for the Darkbloods, bringing wrath and retribution upon all Hollowborn. That said, we became the Darkdweller's wardens for another reason. He must be kept shackled for his own safety. As I've said before, the Hollowborn's bonds must be stronger than iron. No exceptions.
