Warlord of Embersea, Reputation Vendor
You've come. I thank you. For a moment, I didn't think you would. I warn you, the things I left behind when I came to this nation were…unsavory. I don't ask for your forgiveness, just for your help. I would be honored if you were still willing to lend it to me.

This place was a home to me once. It was here that my former brothers and sisters roamed, wild and happy. We were the Brimstone Marauders, and we were free. But freedom came with a price, and when I could no longer pay it, I came here. I had hoped that would be the end of it. How foolish of me.

After completing the 'Redemption' quest:
Warlord of Embersea, Reputation Vendor
All the suffering that has happened under Talmin's watch must be repaid. I once called him friend, brother, even. But I can never forgive him for what he has done to this once proud clan. The Steppe will weep for generations here because of the cruelty prepetrated here, and it is not only Talmin's fault. The blood rests on my hands also.

Warlord of Embersea, Reputation Vendor
Plague on one side, Firestorm Onslaught on the other. What next? I was a good general in my day, but it's going to take more than a single veteran to turn townsfolk into troops. It's asking a lot, but I'm going to need some help if Embersea is to survive this nightmare. If you provide the power, I can provide the tactics to back you up. There are reports of Bandit activity on the Brimstone Steppes, if you can, please help!

It wasn't always this way. Before the earthquakes that ripped apart our island last year, the Firestorm Caldera was peaceful… as much as an active volcanic region can be. But then the creatures became agitated and shortly after that - ah, Shuri Flamestone preserve us. the Onslaught was formed.
The Onslaught?
The Firestorm Onslaught, yes. The reason we called for your help. They're led by a battlemage, a Pyromancer, named Tyndarius. I saw him rising through the ranks, after he joined the Calderan Guard, and knew he was special. But I could not foresee this. To attack his homeland, to rally others to do the same… Defeating his host will not be easy, but with your help, we WILL do it.
Plague Warning?
As if things weren't heating up enough… A plague is spreading. We face attacks on two fronts - externally, from the Onslaught, and internally, from a plague our healers have never seen before and cannot cure. It starts slowly, with sweating and fatigue, then a deadly fever. They have had some success with potions, but… we need to find a cure NOW or there'll be no-one left for the Onslaught to conquer!

You've done so much to help us already, my friend. I can call you that? Thank you, I am honored. The warriors at Pyrewatch Peak have been signaling. The Firestorm Onslaught is on the move again. Their attacks are coming faster and faster, and the plague is only getting worse. We must act, and fast!

Warlord of Embersea
Tyndarius and his Firestorm Onslaught are making themselves quite the thorn in my side. I know Tyndarius, or knew him. He was a good man, a strong battlemage if overly ambitious. I wouldn't have suspected he would lead an attack on our nation. But at least I can fight the Onslaught. This plague…Hero, the agony of the afflicted are enough to make me sick in the heart. And now… now the latest shipment of our medicine has gone missing. Pyrewatch Peak guards signaled that it never arrived, and those are the last doses we have. If we don't recover them…
Talk
I see despair and tragedy every time I even pass by the infected. They're hurtingm hurting, Hero. But what's worse than that, worse than seeing their pain, worse than not knowing if they'll see another sunrise, is the knowledge that I can do nothing to help them. And if the rumors are true, if the Firestorm Onslaught pyromancers created this plague to make the invasion easier… then by Sariki's Golden Hoof, I will CRUSH the breath from his lungs and stomp on his spleen!
Warlord of Embersea
We're too late. The Empress of the ShadowScythe and her army have already reached the top of ShadowFlame Mountain. Between her and the Firestorm Onslaught, this area is lost to us. We'll need to redouble our efforts to protect the rest of the nation. We MUST save as much of our country as we can! But first… we need to deal with what waits at the top.
Talk
No matter what happens up there, we've got to get to Feverfew Falls. Word has come saying the healing temple is under attack. We can't pull out here without incurring even more losses, so for now, we need to trust the temple guards and mages. But… I worry, my friend. The sick are there, and many healthy people seeking refuge from the Storm.
