I would love for more adventurers like you to feel more comfortable coming to the nobles with your worries, but there are an oddly high amount of monsters roaming the castle grounds. The nobles are protected by their knights or their own combat skills, but a farmer or craftsman would be in a lot of trouble. Would you please clear some of the gargoyles and castle spiders to make it safer for the common folk to visit?
May I buy the gargoyle rubble and spider legs from you? I'm teaching my father how to cast magic spells. These reagents are perfect for a beginner. Actually, I wonder if I could offer to tutor people outside of the castle? This could also be a way to make it easier for the citizens to approach the nobles. I know it's a naive idea, but it doesn't hurt to try.

Have you been inside the castle? Then you might have met my Father, Lord Leofric Cavendish. He's here to speak with the King on my mother's behalf. Father is also looking to make friends with other nobles. That will prove to be difficult. But he's a wonderful chef. Would you please travel to /greenguardwest and bring back some frogzard tails? He could cook his signature dish and invite nobles to a meal.
My father is a commoner who married a noblewoman, my mother, after her first husband died during the rebellion. That means I'm not truly blue blooded, which can invite the same scorn my father receives. Even when other nobles are nice, they hold old fashioned ideas. They avoid too much contact, believing that commoners are inherently dirty or uneducated. Slowly but surely, we'll erode these beliefs.

Many nobles are visiting Swordhaven Castle to have an audience with the royal family. A friend of mine is a noblewoman from the Surewood area, and an expert in agriculture. Unfortunately, some of the crop samples she took with her were tampered with when she was occupied with her travel papers. Would you please help her get replacements from Seed Stalkers and Fungal Lords in /twistedcavern?
Lady Marigold Reignolds is willing to put her life on the line by studying monsters in order to engineer safe and durable crop seeds. But she is put under much scrutiny because her father was a court magus of the previous dynasty. There are unfounded rumors about Mari's loyalty, and the same nobles who whisper about her also try to harass her into marriage to take control of her family's lands.

Though my family protects the plateaus outside of Darkovia, my knowledge of spirits and ghosts is a work in progress. In that regard, coming to Swordhaven castle has helped. The nobles here are fascinated with ghost stories, and the wraiths that roam the towers. But what of spirits from farther away? I have heard that there are wraiths in a place called /deadmoor. If it's possible, would you travel there to find them?
Oh my! You even brought me samples! Ah, the spirits appear and behave different depending on their location and circumstances. I wonder…the nobles here are interested in the occult because the previous dynasty used to bury their most hated enemies beneath the gardens - both to humiliate them and to keep a close eye on them. Or maybe that's hearsay. The current royalty haven't spoken about the matter.

I saw Lord Henry Vaughn in the castle. His house protects the Western Valleys near the Sandsea. Chiral Valley is under Lord Vaughn's jurisdiction, but he and his knights were forbidden by King Alteon from participating in wars or battles. There's a place called /horde where Horde Knights lurk. Would you retrieve their weapons so I could send them to the Valley's people? That way, they can protect themselves.
Because Lord Vaughn is barred from having a standing army, he relies on Adventurers to protect his lands. I hear he pays them handsomely in both gold and favors. They adore Lord Vaughn, but I would caution you about receiving his attention. He has been generous to commoners and my family, but most of his family was killed by by King Alteon's friend during the rebellion. The circumstances were…murky.
