Your undying spirit intrigues me. Call me Mueran, Dragonrune Hall's Necromancer Professor. I have dedicated my life… and afterlife… to understanding the interworking of the Undead. With my help, you too can become a proficient Necromancer. Let's start meddling in these dark arts, shall we?

Necromancy?
Necromancy is not for the faint of heart. You must channel your inner darkness in order to control the dark creatures at your disposal. You mist keep your wits as a Necromancer so that you do not meet the same fate as your Undead Minions… Now that you know, we can begin your training.

After completing the 'Academic Probation' quest:

Inversionist and Necromancer Professor
A being known as Fimbul has taken over the First Champion of Ice's corpse, and threatens to envelop Lore in an endless Winter. Glace defeated Fimbul in the past, and we will do the same. Are you, Aria, and Tara prepared to venture back into the tomb?

Fimbul
My foolish students failed to raise Glace as an undead minion, so they invited any spirit to use her corpse as a vessel instead. A being from the dawn of Spellcrafting answered their call, and promptly turned them into its servants. We know little about Fimbul, only that it was born in Lore, was the guardian of the Northlands, and eventually defeated by Glace. Its original body is in pieces, frozen inside the walls of the tomb.

Students
I see the Champions of Nature and Mana as potential students that will sign up for my classes any day now. This trip was meant to help them learn, but feelings of anxiety and doubt are distracting them. I imagine they're worried about the unwanted attention they'll attract, how they may not know peace even in death, and the devastating potential of their abilities. It is my duty as a professor to get them back on track.

Kriomein
The former valedictorian of Dragonrune Hall's School of Necromancy has utterly disappointed me. His grades fell because of his arrogance, he was caught cheating on his exams, and now he's failed to get his revenge! We escaped the tomb and left him to his fate. Deserved, I'd say. He was the one who summoned Fimbul without the ability to control it. You may think this is harsh, but death isn't such a misery to those that can invert it.

Our objective is to eject Fimbul's body out of Glace's body. This will not eliminate the threat, which means the solution will need to deal with Fimbul after it becomes exposed. You, Tara, and Aria must follow my instructions carefully.

Commendable work. Fimbul has been scattered to the snow, and our fine students learned valuable lessons. You're looking at me incredulously. Are you implying that I intended for this chain of events to happen? I wish I had that much foresight, but no, Tara and Aria accomplishing an amazing feat of necromancy was merely what was needed to prevent an eternal Winter. In my opinion, the cold season should end with Frostval.

I wonder if they sealed the body parts of this monster in the Tomb as a symbolic way of having Glace prevent it from coming alive. It's a silly sentiment. This beast's body is too damaged and fragmented to raise without a country of experienced necromancers.

When I discovered proof that he cheated during exams, I had him expelled. The stunt Kriomein's trying to pull in this tomb is a nuisance. It is impossible for him to raise Glace as an undead servant, and even if he succeeded, I would still hold him in contempt.

There he is, my idiot student. The draugr are suppressed, and there shouldn't be anything else up Kriomein's sleeves. Capture him and I'll figure out why he turned into a cold lich. It's strange, Kriomein never wanted to become a lich. Something must have happened.

One of the worst mistakes a necromancer can get is summoning the soul of an entity stronger than them. My fool of a student opened the door to the nether, and a savage and unknown threat took his invitation! Fimbul is the spirit of the beast fragmented and frozen in the walls of this tomb, slain by Glace long ago. The Dragonrune Professors and I will assist Tara and Aria with banishing Fimbul back to the realm of the dead.
