My colleagues, Maedoc and Neveya, are guarding the entrance of the tomb. The undead Draugr left by my idiotic students are going to distract them from their spells. Decimate their numbers, and make sure the professors aren't breaking focus.
The Draugr are under Fimbul's control. Ice is growing from within their skulls, preventing their souls from passing on. Fascinating - the souls are not aware of their situation. They have become still, indistinguishable from inert stone. It is the ice that moves their bones.

The Auberon that guarded the tomb have been affected by the insidious presence that possesses the tomb. Putting them out of their misery would be easier, but Aria insists that we incapacitate, and heal their affliction with the glowing rimeblossoms found within the mausoleum.
These ice flowers weren't glowing before. Glace's statue has taken on a calming aura as well. This could be a reaction to the sudden malicious influence overtaking the tomb. I doubt it's Glace's spirit speaking from beyond the grave, but a quality of the structure itself.

There is a sinkhole where we fought Kriomein. I believe we can access the rest of the tomb through there, but this area needs to be cleared first. We'll be pestered relentlessly on our climb down otherwise. Destroy the remaining Draugr, and declaw the Auberon.
While you were securing the area, I procured a makeshift ladder. What was left of Kriomein scattered out on the floor was useful in that regard. We'll use it to travel lower. Come now, and save your bellyaching about my draconian teaching techniques for later.

The ladder I made is sturdy enough to hold all four of us. Descend into the depths of the tomb, and prepare for combat as soon as you reach the ground - ice giants are roaming the halls.
Ah, these aren't real giants. They're constructs made of ice that resemble giants. I know of the Ettin, a species that went extinct. I once went on an expedition myself to look for their remains, but alas, there was nothing in the snow.

This area of the tomb ironically resembles a homely dwelling. Aria and Tara scouted ahead on their own to find clues about our enemy. They're very driven students. Catch up with them and see what they have to show.
One's youth is a time of promise and potential, bombarded by relentless tidal waves of ennui. I'm glad I'll never be young and directionless again.

Our goal is to push Fimbul's soul out of Glace's body. For the students to be able to accomplish this, they'll need to re-energize. The rimeblossoms are known to have healing nectar. Collect the flowers, and keep the golems from destroying them.
Mix the nectar and petals into heated water, stir, and watch them melt. This is a rare tea that could save lost explorers from succumbing to exposure. Most definitely an intended effect created by Glace when she was alive.

For my plan to work, we need the magic circles drawn by my treacherous students. Go find Aria in the garden, and release Daselm from Fimbul's control. By that, I mean slay her like any undead. Don't hold back. This is what happens when a necromancer gets sloppy.
Daselm was lazy when it came to studying, but was an expert in the principle of 'think smarter, not harder.' I see that this circle wasn't made by her, but was adjusted to only respond to her mana. This will take a moment to undo.

Aria has taken control of Daselm's circle. Now go help Tara take control of Peter's in the west wing's study. As with Daselm, destroy Peter. This will allow Tara to freely use the runes he drew on the ground.
I've told them repeatedly to not let themselves be laid low like their minions, and look what happened. Hmm, Peter's magus family did generously fund their son's 'odd phase,' so I'll need to fish him back out. It's not as if death is such an obstacle to an inversionist.

Tara and Aria have everything they need. All we need to do is activate the circles and eliminate the remaining golems. Nothing can be allowed to break their concentration, or else our spell will fall apart.
With the abilities of two Champions, we will invert what was once thought impossible!

We're ready to cast our spell. The wind up, especially for beginners like these two, will take some time. We need you to distract Fimbul, or else it will sense our machinations and escape to the surface. Now, go. We have history to make.
With their combined skills, my students have inverted the death of a Champion!
