Requirements: Must have completed the 'Remember to Breathe' quest.
Would you look at that? Oblivion's Mages are scurrying around the back halls. They'll tattle to both of their masters if you don't pull out their tongues. Send them back to the Darkness. I'm sure they'd appreciate the rest.
These Magi are loyal to both Oblivion and Nulgath. The old Nully wouldn't have allowed this to stand. He'd want full and complete devotion. Anyone even close to an equal would be a threat. Would you call this growth or feebleness?

Nulgath's experiments haven't had any success, but they did produce more pawns. Look at these Fiends. They're walking mouths with no thoughts, just appetites. Tug out their tongues before they get a taste for you.
Eventually, the Fiends' mouths will open wide enough to become their entire body. Nasty, but not that crazy. They don't deserve the name "Devourer." Nulgath's getting so ahead of himself, he's diving into territory even I can barely understand.

The Operating Theatre's unlocked, but there are too many nuisances in the way. Fancy words, huh? Do I sound enough like a Loremaster? Oh, right. The annoyances. Get rid of the remaining Oblivion Magi and Fiendish Devourers.
Nully tends to put Fiends to work as soon as they emerge from the Void. In special cases, like Carnage, Jadzia, and - quite famously - Dage, the Archfiend tinkers with them on a dissection table to get the details just right.

Time to snoop. Look around for anything about the experiments Nulgath's been conducting. If we're lucky, you'll run into someone who's seen them firsthand. If you end up tattling on me…Oh, well. That'll make this more fun.
Nulgath's experiments are ruthless, but that wouldn't be anything to write home about if he was only using his minions as lab rats. The fact that he's scarring his own soul to slay Adimonde. I'll have to give it to Nully, that's impressive.

On the topic of experimental ethics, look at what's lumbering down the hall. They're what's left of Nulgath's clones. I know there's more down there, and we'll have to clean up Nully's trash to sate our curiosity.
The logs went over how Nulgath's soul inhabits his clone bodies as they undergo experimentation. Whenever the process failed, his minions would rip the soul out before it degraded further. It's excruciatingly painful, but motivating. Good for him.

We're getting close to something juicy. Nulgath's Nightmare Fiends are guarding it. They used to be mortals with the ability to enter dreams. Careful. They might look massive, but they'll fly up your nose and dig into your brain given the chance. Let's put them to sleep.
*munch* *munch* Wanna try? If I had to describe it, I'd say the nightmares taste like cotton candy that's been mashed into a dense lump. Don't worry. It isn't cannibalism unless you mutate into a Fiend.

The Clones and Nightmare Fiends are clustered in the hall leading to an infinity pool. That's where mortals are dipped, and mutate into Nulgath's minions. Come on. Get rid of these meatbags, and let's go for a swim.
Since when did you agree to jump into the Fiend's Void? Hey, you didn't exactly reject me either. I mean, obviously, I'm not Jadzia. We're past that point, but you don't want to return. Not just yet. Come on. Keep going. It'll be fun, I promise.

Get a good gander at that walking pit of teeth! It's one of the clones Nully experimented on. The closest he's gotten to success, and he just lets the thing wander around. Okay, great. We've looked. Now kill it. There's more fun to be had elsewhere.
It's powerful enough to chew and swallow chunks of the Fiend's Void, but completely brainless. The thing was all gums and fangs from the waist up, which must have disturbed the Great Archfiend Nullers. I bet he backed out of that body as fast as he could.

The infinity pool deep under Terceblah is where Nulgath mutates mortals into Fiends. It's the product of a leaking springing from the Fiend God's realm, or well, my body. Don't be shy. Come closer. The water's just fine.
Why did you let me bring you here all alone? Why did you tell Carnage about me, but let him leave without you? Give me your answer after you take the plunge.
