Make them Surrender?
You need to defeat a bunch of monsters? Well, technically speaking, you don't even have to fight them. It counts as a victory if the enemy surrenders. It'd be pretty heartless to hurt someone that's already waving a white flag. Wh-why do you need so many monsters to cry uncle? Is this one of those self-imposed challenge things?
