You're not good at keeping promises. Brittany and I know it, and Tara's going to learn pretty quickly. But this time, I'm holding you to it. We'll ruin this attempt at an Undead uprising by slaying the Thronekeeper, and then you'll tell me everything. Don't run away.

Secrets
I heard you chased after Sepulchure once he became a Doomknight. He killed innocent people, and even your Dragon - Victorious. Everyone assumed you were going to slay him for what he did, but you were gone for a suspiciously long time. Dad tried to cover for you and your supposed memory loss, but the Shadowscythe's still wreaking havoc. Everyone asked what you were doing out there. I almost don't want to know.
Illness
Your coughing fits are getting worse, and you can stop pretending it's a pollen allergy. Back when we were talking with Richard, your nose started bleeding. Is it because you're using your magic again? I don't know how this Champion stuff works, but maybe it's backfiring on you. Hmph. You're not a hero anymore, so why should you get to wield the Light? Just leave the rest to me and my arrows. I'll handle this myself.
Archery
I can hit a bullseye blindfolded, not that you or Dad would be happy about that…Remember when you used to help me practice with swordplay? I didn't like it as much as my bow and arrow, but you were a terrible shot. Brittany would watch us from afar, and we'd take a break to join her for tea. What happened to that? Why did we stop? Who cares what those nobles think. They've never done any favors for us.

I don't want to look at you. Let's just get this over with and go back to the castle. Richard's in trouble because you won't help him. The least we can do is put his father to rest, and keep this a secret so his brother won't get in trouble. You're good at that, aren't you?

The swindled Necromancers, the plotting members of House Vaughn, and these strange, faceless hooded figures. I need to figure out what the bigger picture is, but there's a problem. A knight, a real nasty one, is lumbering down the stairs. He's…missing his head, and he's out for ours. We're not going to get any further unless we take him down.

Mom! Mom, wake up! Richard, we have to do something! Help me move her somewhere safer! I can hear footsteps. The Ritualists and Undead are getting closer. We can't go back the way we came. We'll have to get upstairs! Think…think…The Necromancers were taken advantage of by the Vaughns. They were planning a coup, and were approached by the Ritualists. Mom might recognize them…are they after her?

Fine. I'll go to Castle Bocklin with you, but only to keep my sisters safe from the blackmailer. When was the last time you dropped everything to fix a problem? Right, it was that guy who killed your Dragon, and is currently terrorizing the countryside.

The letter said, "I know what you and Sir Valen kept from King Alteon. You thought no one was watching, but I was. Think about your family. Think about how you failed to bring Sir Valen back. Everyone talks about it. Imagine what would happen to your daughters if the truth gets out. Meet me at Castle Bocklin in Chiral Valley, or your secret will come to light. Do not involve the King. You have no choice, and I don't either."
Rumors
I'm not deaf, Mom, and you aren't either. The nobles laugh in our faces, and it's gotten worse since Tara was born. They're saying that your marriage is a sham. That you care about a bloodthirsty monster more than your own Kingdom…Are the rumors about Brittany, Tara, and I true? Do you love my Dad? Don't run away, and don't ignore me like I don't exist. When we confront the blackmailer, I want answers.
Heroism
You, Dad, and Sir Valen led the rebellion, and overthrew the tyrant Dethrix Drakath. I loved listening to the stories from the bards and the Lorekeepers, but they always ended abruptly. There were always gaps between your achievements. Now, I wonder if they were all pretty lies. If you were a real hero, you would have slain Sepulchure. There was no going back for him. A knife in his neck would have been the only answer.

Really, Mom? You're just letting the nobles keep each other hostage? I can't imagine what it'd be like to never see Brittany or Tara again. No wonder he resorted to blackmail. But, you had no choice. I don't get many either. You and Dad got to be heroes back in the day. When I grow up, I have to be someone's wife. Whatever. Let's just kill this Undead Vaughn guy. Richard shouldn't have to deal with this alone.

Mom! You're okay! The potion worked! I…I'm still angry at you. We just can't afford to lose focus. Our family needs us, and so does Richard. I noticed that the Ritualists were retreating deeper into the castle. We have them on the back foot. Time to finish them off.
Glory Days
The Shadowscythe is still terrorizing Greenguard, but Dad looks so happy when he tells us stories about his adventures. Sometimes, I forget that Valen and Sepulchure are the same person. I think he had trouble with it at first, but now he wants an excuse to talk about the times when all three of you were together. Why did it all go wrong? I wish the story ended when the tyrant was defeated…but that's childish.
Sisters
Why have three kids? I'm serious about this, Mom. Brittany I get, because the King needs an heir. I'm the backup on top of being a useful piece to marry off, but why Tara? Your real dream was to have a family with Valen, but that didn't work out. Did you change gears? Get a family from Dad, with Valen on the side? If everything worked out the way you wanted it to in the beginning…we would never have been born.
Richard
What happens if you tell Brentan's family to let Richard go back home? ….Wait, I can't keep up. The common folk outside of Chiral will riot because we're giving mercy to the nobles that stayed loyal to the tyrant. Other noble houses will get angry over favoritism, and call Dad a weak ruler. There are also other, far more dangerous families in the same position as the Vaughns. They'll demand the same treatment…I hate this.

I haven't decided how I feel about everything I learned. Maybe I never will. I just…want us to be a family again. What bothered me most was the idea that you never wanted Brittany, Tara, and I. Despite what your reasons were, I still hate how you hurt Dad. I'll never forgive Valen, either. But…maybe I'll be okay. What happened between the three of you…If you still love me and my sisters…I can live with that.
